Mission Statement

The Bedford County Literacy Council (BCLC) serves families and adults of Bedford County by delivering quality educational services including basic literacy skills, adult basic education, family literacy, financial literacy, and GED test preparation. Our goal is to improve adults' education levels and increase functioning in the home, competency in the workplace and societal awareness and participation.
